Young is writing a dissertation on Karl Philipp Moritz’s holistic approach to the human being by tracing how the soul becomes configured in nuanced visual modalities throughout his works. As part of her teaching experience and pedagogical training, Young has taught all levels of German language in the department and currently serves as a Senior Teaching Consultant at the Center for Teaching and Learning.
