This exam is for students with prior knowledge of German and determines their level of German and which class would be most appropriate for them.
Additional Information on the test: No registration is necessary, but please be punctual as the test starts with a listening component. The test is a paper/pen(cil), multiple-choice test designed to test all levels. It covers listening, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and a writing prompt. Results will be made available as soon as possible, usually the same or the following day.

Placement Testing for Fall courses will occur in the week prior to the start of classes and in the first week of classes.
*Fall registration starts on April 15.
