Evan Parks received his B.A. in European Cultural Studies from Brandeis University. His research interests include modern German literature and culture, the entanglement of German and Jewish intellectual traditions, post-Holocaust literary representation and aesthetics, and the relationship between literature and philosophy, especially hermeneutics and deconstruction. He has written on Freud, Kafka, Benjamin, and Celan.
