Varol Kahveci studied English Language and Literature at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. As a part of his undergraduate degree he spent one year at University of Kent in Canterbury. Before coming to Columbia he completed his Master's in Comparative Literature at Dartmouth College. His interests are currently located in migration, identity and the role of Home for migrant bodies and psyches.
