Christopher Thomas Hoffman

Chris completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative Literature from Northwestern University in 2014 and spent several years teaching English in Hamburg, Germany, first through the Fulbright Program and then on his own wits. His academic interests, broadly sketched, include 20th century German literature and film, comparatism, critical theory, multiculturalism and migration, and the history and theorizations of capitalism. A few recent intellectual inspirations include Kleist, Eve Sedgwick, David Graeber, Audio88, and Terry Gilliam. Next to German rap and cycling his current guilty pleasure is learning Turkish.
